TANK DRIVING!
Have you ever wanted to drive, shoot from, or ride in a tank? We now are offering several Tank Driving Experiences you can choose from in our FV107 Scimitar!

LEARN HOW TO DRIVE THE TANK AND SHOOT FROM THE TANK-​ Have you ever wanted to drive a tank? Of course you have. If you want to go straight to the most fun option, this is it. One of our range officers will personally teach you how to start, control, and drive our tank. You'll get an in depth lesson on how it operates and how to safely navigate our 40 acre course. Then we'll let you run the course from the driver's seat yourself! Once you've had your fill on the driving course we'll put you in the gunner's seat and let you get some time shooting cars with the 12.7mm cannon.

Total experience time: course laps take about 10-15 minutes of driving per driver. Training usually takes another 15-20 minutes. For multiple drivers we can train several at once. Total time estimate about 1 hour per one driver and a rider. Goes faster with more people.

​​If you didn't get your fill from driving the tank, or if you have other group members that may not want to do the full experience, we have offer add-ons to your tank experience. These are available a la carte and can be booked in advance or added day of with an existing tank booking.

More time on the tank or additional rounds of ammunition can of course be added "a la carte" just ask.

Safety helmets, ear, and eye protection will be supplied for those shooting, driving, or riding in the tank.

Customers are welcomed and encouraged to take pictures and videos while in or around the Tank!

Those wishing to drive the tank must be at least 18 years old with a driver's license. Riders must be 14 years of age to ride inside tank. (Younger exceptions may be made, but they must be large enough to properly hold-on and fit the seats.) Under 18 riders must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

We recommend wearing clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty. Long pants and closed toed shoes are recommended but not required.

Unlike our machinegun rentals we require some advanced notice to drive the tank. Please call the store if interested in making an appointment.

Climbing in and out of the tank can be tricky. If you are unsteady, or don't like confined spaces, the tank may not be for you. The drivers seat in particular is a little tricky to get in and out of. This may be difficult if you have back or knee problems. We cannot guarantee a 42" waistline or above can comfortably fit in the tank hatch.
