The OCM6 is a 6mm bore OPS/AE pattern suppressor constructed out of Titanium and Inconel. It is a second generation to the very successful OCM5. By making the inner core of the suppressor from DMLS 3D printed Inconel but keeping the outer tube housing machined Titanium we were able to make it light but strong. Compared to the original OPS 12/AEM5 the OCM6 is 24% lighter (5 oz) without giving up any strength and offering superior erosion resistance.
 
The biggest improvement of the new OCM6 is backpressure. Historically the OPS 12/AEM5 and then the later OCM5 are very, very quiet suppressors at the muzzle with one drawback – backpressure. The OCM6 sacrifices a little of the muzzle suppression to gain shooters ear suppression and backpressure performance. What does that mean exactly? Let’s say you were standing 10 feet away from somebody shooting an OCM6 VS OCM5 – 10 feet away the OCM5 is going to sound quieter. But to the person SHOOTING the gun the OCM6 is going to sound quieter because it has less port pop. The OCM6 is all about making the shooters experience more enjoyable in both sound and gas management.
 
Because of the new 6mm bore you are no longer limited to just 5.56 – you can use ANY 6mm round in this suppressor. 6 ARC, 6 Dasher, 6 Creed, 243 Winchester, etc. And Yes, you can still shoot 5.56/223.
